Sales Funnels & Upsells

What is a Sales Funnel?

A sales funnel allows you to offer additional products (upsells) immediately after someone purchases your main product. This significantly increases your average order value.

Example Funnel:

  1. Customer buys main product ($47)
  2. Sees Upsell #1: Bonus templates ($27) - 40% take rate
  3. Sees Upsell #2: 1-on-1 coaching ($197) - 10% take rate
  4. Average Order Value increases from $47 to $78!

Creating Your Sales Funnel

  1. Edit your deal → Go to "Sales Funnel" tab
  2. Add First Upsell
    • Enter upsell title and description
    • Set price (or select existing deal as upsell)
    • Add image or YouTube video
    • Write compelling copy explaining the offer
  3. Add More Upsells (optional)

You can add multiple upsells in sequence

  4. Set Discount (optional)

Offer special pricing only available in the funnel (e.g., "Only $27 instead of $47!")

  5. Save your changes

Using Existing Deals as Upsells

You can select any of your existing deals (or affiliate products) as upsells:

  • Your Own Deals: Offer your other products at discounted prices
  • Affiliate Deals: Promote other vendors' products for commission (no discount allowed)

Note: When using affiliate products as upsells, you cannot offer discounts since you don't own the product.

Best Practices

  • Relevance: Upsells should complement the main product
  • Value Ladder: Start with lower-priced upsells, then higher-priced
  • Clear Benefit: Explain exactly what they get and why they need it
  • One-Time Offers: Create urgency by mentioning this price is only available now
  • Easy Decline: Always provide clear "No Thanks" option
